Biarritz seems to be for the south western part of France, what Cannes and Nice are for its soutern side. It is an elegant city with beautful homes all around. We saw in its streets cars we did not see in other towns we visited on this side of France. Even its people get dressed differently.
There are several beaches and one just for surfing (if you look carefully at the picture to the far right, you will notice some surfers in black). Not surprisingly there were many topless women around each beach, old and young. Of course as you may expect, some men were in thongs.
As the day progressed and the weather was getting nicer, the beaches were filling quickly. Food was great and the locals were extremely friendly.
